General Notes: A Baptist. A farmer living near Morrow, OH. (per Rev. Herbert G. Coddington). He built a room on his house to use as a country store, which he conducted for some years around 1850. A huckster wagon, loaded with goods, was driven about the country district where the goods were exchanged for farm produce. And, with the produce thus obtained, the wagon was driven to Cincinnati, thirty miles away, where the produce was either sold from the wagon at public market or was exchanged for a fresh supply of goods for the store.
