"In 1951 he originated the Evangel Hour, a weekly TV program of ministry and music. Stricken with arteriosclerosis in 1971, as the result of which he suffered a leg amputation that greatly restricted his mobility, he continued the Evangel Hour on radio. The programs have been broadcast from Swaziland, Guam, India, Australia, and New Guinea." ¹⁷⁶⁴
