In Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1 May 1862.
Enlisted (again) 21 May 1864 at Corydon Iowa in Co. H. 46th Iowa Infantry, and mustered out 23 Sep 1864 at Davenport Iowa.
Died at home of son, Lewis C. Coddington. ^1601,2686
