Christian Scientist, died as a result of car accident. Was taken to hospital and release to home, a day or so later felt bad, returned to hospital, diagnosed with ruptured spleen (internal hemorrhage), received operation to no avail, died at home.
Hazel Ayres, on the other hand, wrote in a letter that due to her faith, she refused medical care and died at home on the living room sofa. ³³⁶⁹
