Note of Henry Wyles Cushman: He and both his wives were members of the church in Plympton, where his father was deacon and his uncle Isaac was pastor.
From "Isaac Allerton of the Mayflower": On 30 Jan 1710/11 Allerton Cushman of Plympton, husbandman, and wife Mary sold to Thomas Buck two parcels of land in Scituate, part of land formerly in possession of Lt. Isaac Buck (her grandfather).
The will of Allerton Cushman of Plympton, yeoman, dated 16 Oct 1730, proved 8 Mar 1730/1, names dau. Mary; son Allerton; son Joseph under age; wife Elizabeth; brother Joseph Cushman to adm. The account names dau. Mary and sons James and Allerton. On 27 May 1736 Allerton, James and Joseph Cushman divided their land.
