Leonard Philip CODDINGTON ^{475,2471,2523}

  General Notes:

He was born in Nebraska but grew up in Illinois. At the age of six years old, Leonard's mother left. He was raised by his Grandmother Amanda Coddington. At the age of 19 years, he took up barbering. He was in Decatur, Illinois in 1911.
After his marriage he and his wife, Winifred, moved to Oklahoma, then Farmington, New Mexico, where he tried his hand in farming. Not having much luck he went back to his barbering profession. (W.R.C.H.)

In 1925, he and his family moved to Ramona, San Diego County, California where he opened a service station and barber shop on the corner of 308 Seventh Street and Maine, this was also he residence for the remainder of his life.

He was a member of the Masons for 35 years and was a past master of Santa Maria Lodge #580 F&AM. He was a member of The Friends Church of Ramona. (E.W.H.)
