Mrs. Clarence (Florence) Grabbe, 65, 170 Ellsworth st., was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital for McHenry county in Woodstock, Jan. 25. She was 65 years old.
Born in McHenry June 9, 1901, to Newell and Agnes Thomas Colby, she resided there until her marriage June 24, 1925.
She was employed by Oak Manufacturing Co. in Crystal Lake for several years and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
Her husband died in 1943. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Survivors include two sons, Harold, Crystal Lake, and Donald, McHenry; a sister,. Mrs. Belle Lindemulder, McHenry; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were in the Warner Funeral home, Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Bloesch officiating.
Interment was in Crystal Lake Union cemetery.
She was buried in the Union Cemetery at Crystal Lake, McHenry County, Illinois Married ______ Gabbe; resided at Crystal Lake, Illinois.
