2 Heavy steel cars moving rapidly, collided on a curve just northeast of Westfield Station on the Jamestown, Westfield and Northwestern Railway . They met with such force that they telescoped, crushing the life out of both motormen and injuring about every passenger on the train Frank WOOD and Herman SWANSON both of Jamestown were the killed men and Martin COLBY of Westfield was so severely injured that he died the next morning, JAN. 2 1917.
