CALDWELL WOMAN BURIED SATURDAY


Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Mary A. Pierce, 81, who died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Boynton, Michigan and Linden streets. Services were held at the Seventh Day Adventist church. Interment was in the Canyon Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Pierce had been a resident of Caldwell for the past three years and was a pioneer of the west, having come to California from Wisconsin in early girlhood. Besides Mrs. Boynton, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Arthur Morgan of Oakland, Cal., and one son, Archer Pierce, of Miami, Fla.
