Beaches to celebrate golden anniversary
Salina -- Neil and Janet Beach, Salina, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house in their honor Saturday, July 25, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Beach residence, 175 South 100 East in Salina.
They were married Sept. 25, 1959, in Salina.
Neil worked in road construction most of his career and recently retired from Robinson Transport in Salina. Janet, a homemaker, enjoys making quilts, sewing and baking.
They enjoy spending summers at their cabin at Acord Lake mountain retreat.
They have five children including; Kerry Beach, Shauna (Greg) Robinson, all of Las Vegas; Douglas Beach, Hurricane; Susette (Craig) Blackner, Minersville; and Bryan (Mya) Beach, Salina.
They also have 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
It is requested that no gifts be offered.

She was born April 17, 1921, in Monticello, Utah, the daughter of John and Bertha Colby Rasmussen. She received her education in Ephraim, Utah. She has been a Blackfoot resident for many years. She was married to Boyce Larsen on November 25, 1938 in Manti, Utah. They were later divorced. She was married to Blain Marley in 1960, in Ely, Nevada, and they were later divorced. She was married to Adrian Morrell on Jan. 26, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was a member of the LDS Church, where she had served as Relief Society president, Relief Society teacher and in the Primary organization. She had worked as a waitress. She enjoyed music and gardening, but her main interest was her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Ade, Blackfoot, Idaho; two sons, Jack Larsen, Rigby and Russell Marley, Pocatello; three daughters, Mrs. Evan (Jeanne) Wride, Salt Lake City; Bonnie Larsen Gardner, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Bruce (Deneice) Olson, Yakima, Washington; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Mick (Sheryl) Ishida, San Jose, California; three stepsons, A. J. Morrell, Rexburg, Idaho; Reid Morrell, Fort Hood, Tennessee; and Zan Morrell, Blackfoot; two brothers, Jack Rasmussen, Spokane, Washington; Charles Rasmussen, Bountiful; two sisters, Mrs. Cliffton (Thora) Gortat, Manti; and Beth Anderson, Santaquin, Utah. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Ann Larsen, one brother, Thad Rasmussen and one sister, Nona Larsen.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 1993, at the Blackfoot 2nd Ward LDS Church by Bishop Sponnenburgh. The family will meet with friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hill-Sandberg Funeal Home and again Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
