265. Abner⁵ SUTTON (Mary (Mercy)⁴ MARTIN, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹) was born in New Jersey May 8, 1741. Abner died February 26, 1791 in New Jersey at 49 years of age. He was interred 1791 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Churchyard, in Warren Township, Somerset County, New Jersey.

He married Mary DAVISON May 31, 1768 in New Jersey. Mary was born May 12, 1742. Mary died December 12, 1798 in New Jersey at 56 years of age. She was interred December 1798 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Churchyard, in Warren Township, Somerset County, New Jersey.

Abner SUTTON and Mary DAVISON had the following children:

301 i. Sarah⁶ SUTTON was born April 11, 1769. Sarah died November 30, 1812 at 43 years of age.

302 ii. David SUTTON was born 1771. David died May 14, 1852 at 80 years of age.

303 iii. George SUTTON was born January 8, 1773.

304 iv. Jeremiah SUTTON was born August 8, 1774. Jeremiah died May 8, 1848 at 73 years of age.

305 v. John SUTTON was born February 25, 1776. John died May 15, 1779 at 3 years of age.

306 vi. Rosanna SUTTON was born November 15, 1780. Rosanna died April 28, 1811 at 30 years of age.

307 vii. John SUTTON was born September 3, 1783. John died October 3, 1806 at 23 years of age.
