I'm hunting Bertha Bruder who married August Schill, before 1862, possibly in Germany, possibly in Illinois. They had a daughter, Emma Schill, born 12 January, 1862 in Peoria, IL. She married Frank P. Lally, (born 1852 in Ireland), in Mason County, IL. They had three children: Bertha Marie, Carl Frank and John.

Bertha Marie was married to Charles Wise, my husband's great-uncle, so her family is not actually related by blood to us. I am actually hunting the descendants of Carl or John, as we have an old  photo album of pictures of people that we think are Bertha M.'s Lally family. We would like to get it back to the family. Bertha and Charlie's only child died in 2000, at the age on 90. We found the album shortly before she died. She didn't recognize any of the people in the album. (It had probably been a long time since she'd seen the album, and she was developing Alzheimer's.)
