ALEXANDER AUSTIN HARRIS, son of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 30 Sept 1892. He died 14 Sept 1963 in Shiawassee County, Michigan.  He married Laura CHASE 26 June 1919 who was born 23 Dec 1897 and died 14 Aug 1970. Both are buried in the Ridge Road cemetery. Laura was the daughter of
Franklin CHASE and Bertha REMER. Alexander was a veteran of World War I.  He served in France as an army sergeant. He was employed by Indian Trails bus line in Owosso, Michigan for thirty years. They had three children.

CHARLES SAMUEL HARRIS, son of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 22 Nov 1895. He married 1st Marinda McDOUGAL 21 Nov 1917. She was born 23 April 1895 and died 5 Dec 1938.  Charles married 2nd Virginia THOMPSON but divorced in 1949.  He married 3rd Neva HENDURAN 1 July 1953. Charles died on 29 Dec 1965 and he and Marinda are buried in the Ridge Road cemetery. Charles and Marinda had seven children.

MARY E.B. HARRIS, daughter of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN  was born 30 April 1898.  She married Ervin TRUMBLE 1 Sept 1916 who was born 27 Mar 1897. He died in 29 June 1967 in Orleans, Michigan and is buried in the Woodard Lake cemetery. Ervin was the son of Elihu and Ida Trumble. They
had eight Children. 

Mary E. Harris Trumble, 99, Orleans, Michigan passed away on Thursday, Jan 22 1998,  at Heartland Health Center, Ionia, Michigan

She was born on April 30, 1898, in Saginaw County, Michigan, daughter of Edson Harris and Minnie Chapin.

Mrs. Trumble had been a resident of Orleans, MI since 1938.  She was preceded
in death by her husband, Ervin Trumble, in 1967, and a son Floyd Trumble in
1996.  She is survived  by five daughters and three sons-in law, Virgil and Bill
Moon of Ionia, Nelvalor and Orsie Alexander of Sheridan, MI, Irene Carpenter
on Fenwick, MI,  Ivadell Lake of Greenville, MI, Hope and Charles Ring of Orleans;  two sons and daughters-in-law,  William and Viola Trumble of Belding, MI,  Ervin and Ellen Trumble Jr., of Muir, MI.  27 grand children, 64 great- grandchildren, 58 great-great grand children.  One sister and brother-in-law, Dortha and Paul Platner  of Elsie, MI.  Burial in Woodward Lake Cemetery.

HENRY HOWARD HARRIS, son of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 22 September 1902 in Brady Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. He married 17 Mar 1924 Mable WESTERVELT who was born 27 Aug 1906 and died 10 Aug 1977. She was the daughter of Wilbur and Grace WESTERVELT. Henry died  12 Jan 1985.  Both are buried at Wildwood cemetery near Chesaning. They had no children.

CLARA PEARL HARRIS, daughter of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 10 July 1905 in Brady Township, Saginaw County, Michigan. She died 6 Sept 1984 in Mio, Michigan, and is buried at the Ridge Road cemetery near Oakley, Michigan. She married in 1923 Lavern WESTERVELT.  He was born 29 August
1900 and died on Valentines day in 1962.  Clara married 2nd Berna HEGLER in 1970. He was born 12 Oct 1901.  Pearl and Lavern had one child.

LYAL (LYLE) E. HARRIS, son of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 5 July 1913 and died 4 Apr 1971. He married Lillian JOKAT in 1940 in Ohio. She was born in Detroit 12 Feb 1912 and died 15 Mar 1965. She was the daughter of Julius JOKAT and Augusta BELUZA.  Lillian is buried in the St. Johns Lutheran cemetery in Hemlock, Michigan. Lyal and Lillian were divorced and he married 2nd Marie Selfridge GODFREY.  They were divorced and he married for a third time 23 Nov 1968. Marjorie MOORE. Lyal and Lillian had one son. Lyal and Marie had three children. He is buried in the Ridge Road cemetery near Oakley, Michigan.

DORTHA E. HARRIS, daughter of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 3 Sept 1915 in Brady township, Saginaw County Michigan. She married 29 Oct 1933 Paul C. PLATNER. He was born 23 Dec 1912 in Elsie, Michigan, Clinton County. They had three children all born in St. Johns, Michigan.

LOCELE HARRIS, daughter of Edson G.H. Harris and Minnie M. CAPEN was born 17 May 1908. She married 22 May 1927 Ernie John WICKE who was born 26 Nov 1903 in Duplain Township, son of Julius WICKE and Minnie COWDRY. Ernie was killed in an Auto accident at age 84, 10 October 1988. Ernie is buried at Riverside cemetery in Elsie, Michigan. Locele died 11 May 1993 at Maple Valley Nursing Home. She was eighty-four years of age. They had three children.

WAYNE LLOYD HARRIS, son of Alexander A. Harris and Laura CHASE was born 15 Oct 1929. He married Linda SEMAN 27 June 1953. Wayne worked for Buick Motor Division of General Motors retiring in 1986. They had three children.

ALICE LAURENA HARRIS, daughter of Alexander A. Harris and Laura CHASE was born 23 Dec 1927. She married Richard BROKER 25 Oct 1947. Richard was born in Owosso, Michigan 2 Dec 1924 the son of William BROKER and Lilah OMSTEAD. He died 27 Aug 1985 in Owosso and is buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso. They had two daughters.

BEVERLY ANN HARRIS, daughter of Alexander A. Harris and Laura CHASE was born 17 Aug 1934. She married Tad TAPHOUSE 13 Aug 1956. They have five children.

MAJIL LARKINS HARRIS, daughter of Charles S. Harris and Marinda McDOUGAL was born 16 April 1920.  She married John NOBLE 17 June 1941 who was born 3 Feb 1916. They had two children.

HELEN MINNIE HARRIS, daughter of Charles S. Harris and Marinda McDOUGAL was born 4 Nov 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan.  She married 12 June 1948 Donald Edwin HETHERINGTON who was born 9 Feb 1928 in Grandville, Michigan. He was the son of Ralph HETHERINGTON and Lula SPIECE. They had two children.

BEATRICE MADGE HARRIS, daughter of Charles S. Harris and Marinda McDOUGAL was born 5 May 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married 5 Nov 1949 John Wendland HANDY. They were divorced in August 1981. Beatrice died 2 Feb 1987. She was cremated and her ashes scattered over Lake Huron. They had
four children.

GEORGE ARTHUR HARRIS, son of Charles S. Harris and Marinda McDOUGAL was born 31 Aug 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Jung KIM (Carol) in Korea in 1957. George died 26 May 1960 and is buried in Arlington National cemetery in Washington, D.C. They had one son.

FLOYD TRUMBLE, son of Ervin TRUMBLE and Mary E.B. Harris was born 17 May 1918. He married Arlene ______? 21 Dec 1936. She was born 25 May 1920. They had four children.

NELVALAR TRUMBLE, daughter of Ervin TRUMBLE and Mary E.B. Harris was born 22 Aug 1922 and married Orsie ALEXANDER 30 Jan 1943. He was born 24 May 1923. They had three children

ELAINE ETTA WICKE, daughter of Ernie J. WICKE and Locele I. Harris was born 24 Feb 1930 in Elsie Michigan. She married Leslie T. STURGIS in Ithaca, Michigan 23 Feb 1948.  He was born 24 Sept 1927 in Hubbardston, Michigan. His parents were Jesse Daniel STURGIS and Marian FRINK. They have two children. Penny's father was Eugene VAN ETTEN and was adopted by Leslie T. Sturgis.

Michigan the son of Sheda and Anna NICHOLAS. They have three children.

GORDON LEE OYLER, son of Orville OYLER and Virgil M. Trumble was born in 1940. He married Jean DENNIS.  Gordon was killed as a result of an auto accident in June 1962. He is buried at the Woodard Lake cemetery near Orleans.
