                       OBITUARY

            Mrs. John H. Westbrook

Mrs. Mary Ellen Westbrook, 76 wife of John H. 
Westbrook, 115 Riley Street, died this morning
(Aug 12, 1937) at 1:05 o'clock following eight 
months illiness. 

Born Dec 10, 1861, in Licking County, she was the daughter of Philip and Lydia (Evans) Coffman. 

Surviving are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Eva 
Vance of Newark, Mrs. Elizabeth Maharg of St. 
Louisville; three brothers, Harry Coffman of 
Hanover rural district, C.G. Coffman of St Louisville and R.J. Coffman of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The deceased was a member of the West Side 
Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be held 
Saturday at 2 PM in the home.  Rev. Ben S. 
Thisselle will conduct the service and burial will be made in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

                    OBITUARY
                December 18, 1941

John H. Westbrook, 79, died at 1:30 am today 
in the city hospital. He had been a patient at the Williams Nursing home on  Pearl street the past month and was moved to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Mr Westbrook, who has been in declining health five years was a former resident of 115 Riley Street.  He was employed at the Jewett Car Works years ago and later was a night watchman at the advance Glass company and Midland Shoe Company.

The past summer he resided in the home of Harold Haynes, 30 East Channel street.  He 
was born Sept 3, 1862 in Washington County,
Ohio and is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nora Boyd of Peru, Indiana.  His wife Mrs. Ella Westbrook preceded him in death in August of 1937.
