Siggal to get some information. On every census from 1870 - 1930 the
surname is spelled different which made it very difficult to research this family.
In 1870 and 1880 the surname was spelled Robert SIEGER,
1900 the surname was spelled Robert SIGARS, 1910
the surname was spelled Robert and Oliver SEGRASS,
1920 the name was spelled Benjamin SEGALL and in
1930 the name was spelled Benjimin SICKUS.
However, in 1810 the Siegers were SEGARS of Georgia. There were to men
living in Georgia
in 1820 with the last name Segars. One of them was the slave owner of
George Siegers.
