Phillip Vallet (Vallette) of Rhode Island

Looking for any information on the Vallet Family. Can anyone prove or disprove the following information.

Generation One

1. Phillip¹Vallet; married Possible Sarah (Unknown) circa 1705.

Children of Phillip¹Vallet and Possible Sarah (Unknown) were as follows:

• + 2 i. Abigail² Vallet, born circa 1706; married Elijah Hawkins.
• + 3 ii. Possible Jeremiah Vallet, born circa 1709; married Mary Hammond; married Mary Rogers; married Mary Howard; divorced Mary Hammond.+ 4 iii. Possible Jonathan Vallet, born circa 1712; married Mary Thornton.

Generation Two

2. Abigail²Vallet (Phillip¹); born circa 1706; married Elijah Hawkins, son of William Hawkins Jr. and Elizabeth Arnold, May 16, 1724 Providence, Providence County, RI. She was also known as Abigail Vallatt.

Children of Abigail²Vallet and Elijah Hawkins were as follows:

• 5 i. William³ Hawkins; born Feb 25, 1726 Providence, Providence County, RI; married Rachel Hopkins May 30, 1749 Glocester, Providence County, RI; died Aug 14, 1821 Glocester, Providence County, RI,, at age 95.
• 6 ii. Sarah Hawkins; married (Unknown) Jenckes; born Jul 26, 1727 Pawtucket, Providence County, RI.
• 7 iii. Benjamin Hawkins; married Elizabeth (Unknown); born circa 1729 Providence, Providence County, RI; died before 1806.
• + 8 iv. Uriah Hawkins, married Deborah (Unknown); married Elizabeth (Unknown); born 1731 Glocester, Providence County, RI,; married Deborah Winsor.

3. Possible Jeremiah²Vallet (Phillip¹); born circa 1709; married Mary Hammond, daughter of Isaac Hammond, circa 1736; married Mary Rogers circa 1739; married Mary Howard circa 1739; he and Mary Hammond were divorced between 1744 and 1745; died between 1793 and 1795 Montville,, RI.

He He was perhaps a seaman during his early years and sporadically duriing his later years; was probably a rogue and adventurer and recieved no land from his stepfather (Stephen Paine) "for love" as his brother Jonathan did. He purchased bought 10.5 acres from Stephen Paine in 1732. He sold land to William Steere in Apr, 1734 of, Scituate,, RI. He purchased 50 acres from William Steere in May, 1734 of, Providence, Providence County, RI. Left on a "voyage" and did not return for years circa 1739. Declared dead at RI and his estate administered circa 1743. He remarried on of his wifes between 1744 and 1745. He purchased in 1748 Montville,, RI.

Children of Possible Jeremiah²Vallet and Mary Hammond were:

• 9 i. Jerermiah³ Vallet Jr; born between 1738 and 1740.

Children of Possible Jeremiah²Vallet and Mary Rogers were:

• 10 i. Jerimiah³ Vallet 3rd; born circa 1740. He asked Pemberton Baker for guardian at age 14 in 1754.

There were no children of Possible Jeremiah²Vallet and Mary Howard.

4. Possible Jonathan²Vallet (Phillip¹); born circa 1712; married Mary Thornton, daughter of Benjamin Thornton, Jan 25, 1738/39. Recieved land from his stepfather Stephen "for love" as his "son-in-law" in 1729. Inventory of he was Taken by Titus Thornton, brother-in-law in 1742.

Children of Possible Jonathan²Vallet and an unknown spouse were:

• 11 i. Possible Mathew³ Vallet; born circa 1730; died 1821 England; age 91.

There were no children of Possible Jonathan²Vallet and Mary Thornton.
