ST. THOMAS CHURCH & CEMETERY
Navestock, England

submitted by Hal Whitmore

Here are some photos of St. Thomas, Navestock, which I took on my trip(to England). This is where Deacon Edward was baptized. The parish is still very isolated and very much in the midst of farming country. It was sufficiently isolated that the cab driver had a devil of a time finding it.

It is, apparently, still an operating parish, although the vicar who serves it serves two other parishes as well.

I attended church the Sunday I was there is South Weald, where Edward's oldest children were baptized. This is just a little way outside of the city of Brentwood, and is a very active little church, and beautifully restored. I'll send some pictures from there later when I get them reduced to something close to web size.
