William Corbett

William was born in Bentinck Twp., Grey
County, Ontario to Joseph Corbett and Barbara Brown. He married Nellie
Olton in Proudfoot Twp., District of Parry Sound on April 04, 1895. My
grandfather, Stanley Thomas Corbett was born in the town of Nairn Centre
in Northern Ontario in 1896. William was a blacksmith and moved to Sault
Ste. Marie, Ontario around 1902. He lived in the "Soo" the rest of his
life, he died of heart failure on August 23, 1928 at the home of his daughter
Mamie Vance.
