Christopher Moyce Coxhead born 1857 Newport Isle of Wight married Rhoda Emilia Nicholas (photo at right) she was born 1861. They married 1887 and had three sons and three daughters.

Amelia Christiana 'Chrissy' Coxhead b 1894 married Charles John Whelan at the I.O.W. ~ Edith Maud Pretoria b 1900 married Percy George Farrow at Ventnor I.O.W. ~ Frances Mary b 1890 married 1920 to Eddie Chandler in Paddington, London.


Albert Nicholas Coxhead 4th son of Christopher M. Coxhead and Rhoda Amelia Nicholas was born 1896 at Ventnor Isle of Wight, he was killed in Palestine 1917, WW1.


At the front centre is Robert Louis Coxhead with his three sons, Maurice Peter Coxhead b Feb. 1925, Derek Christopher Coxhead b Feb. 1924 and Raymond Moyce Coxhead b Nov. 1927. All born in London. Maurice Peter Coxhead died July 2004. He never married. Derek C. and Raymond M. both married. No children.


Evelyn Kate Silsbury born 1895. Her parents were Maurice Silsbury and Cecila R. Rolf / Rolfe. She married Robert Louis Coxhead 1919. They had three sons. The family moved to London. Today, Aug 2005, two of her sons are alive. One in Kent England and one on British Columbia Canada. Evelyn Kate Silsbury Coxhead died 13th Aug. 1951. Robert Louis Coxhead died 18th Sept. 1974.

By Licence. Both signed. Witnesses Thomas William Silsbury and Rosa Kate Silsbury. John B. Sharp Vicar.

Emma Sarah Coxhead daughter of George Henry Coxhead and Frances Mary Mursell, born 1863 at Newport Isle of Wight. She married Anthony Bell 'a soldier' in August 1882 in Newport IOW. They moved to Plumstead in London about 1890. They had two sons. Her spouce Anthony Bell died 1907, Emma Sarah (Coxhead) Bell died Dec 1944 in Plumstead. London. Her uncles Hezekiel and William also moved to London and so did her sister Emily Charlotte Coxhead born 1861. Emily Charlotte married Lewis Loader in 1897. Emily Charlotte and Lewis Loader had two daughters b 1898 and 1900. Some of Emma Sarah's nephews and nieces also moved to London and married there.
