b. 31 Aug 1845, Lycoming Co., PA; d. 19 Dec 1912, Kingman, KS; bur. Asowatome, KS; mar. 1) 15 Aug 1862, Washington Co., IA, JOHN PAGE; mar. 2) -?- DUEY. CHILDREN: Ortho Page, Charles Page, Samuel Page, Stella Page, John Page, Ellen Page.


     Occurred at her home at Kingman, Kan., Thursday of Last Week. Mrs. H. Durst has received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Rachel Duey of Kingman, Kan., which occurred Thursday, Dec. 10.
     Mrs. Duey was a victim of cancer pain? from which she had suffered for a number of years. She was laid to rest at Constantine[?] Kans. by the side of her first husband, Mr. John Page, formerly of this county. Mrs. Duey leaves to mourn her death a husband and five children, three sons and two [missing section] brother who are: Mrs. Durst, Mrs. Coats, Mrs. Myers, Mrs. Shawen and Mrs. Brown and Ed Helwick of California. She was also a sister of the late E. N. Helwick. Mrs. Duey had been a great sufferer, but exercised the utmost patience through it all. Her sister, Mrs. Myers, has been with and cared for her the last year.
