Jacob BURRIER, 1 [Note: Plumb listed him as Christian] of German descent, came to Hanover from Northampton County with his family about 1810; lived and died in Hanover; married Anna Maria NAGLE; lived on the Middle Road above Bateman DOWNING's.  They had:

Thomas BURRIER 2 (Jacob 1) was born in Northampton County about 1798; came with his father's family; married Susan MYERS [Note: surname spelled differently than above]; is still alive--very old [c. 1885.  He lived to be about age 92 and d. in Ross Twp.?]  They had:

Samuel BURRIER 2 (Jacob 1) was born in Northampton County, PA; came with his father's family to Hanover about 1810; married Mary EDWARDS; removed to [Rock County] Wisconsin about 1846.
