Richard DILLEY 1 was born in New Jersey; came to Hanover with his family before the Revolutionary War, but as early as 1784 settled on the River Road at Buttonwood; married [blank]; died in Hamover in 1799.  They had:

Richard DILLEY 2 (Richard 1) was born in New Jersey; came to Hanover with his father's family in 1784; lived at Buttonwood; married Polly VOKE.  They had:

Jonathan DILLEY 2 (Richard 1) was born in New Jersey; came to Hanover with his father's family in 1784; married Polly BURRITT; lived near Behee's mill pond; died there.  They had:

James DILLEY 3 (Richard, 2 Richard 1) was born in Hanover in 1792; lived on Dilley's Hill on the River Road; married Margaret CAMPBELL; died in Hanover in 1862.  They had:

Jesse DILLEY 3 (Richard, 2 Richard 1) was born in Hanover in 1794; married Hannah K. LUEDER; lived in Wilkes-Barre; died in 1852.  They had:

Dayton DILLEY 3 (Richard, 2 Richard 1) was born in Hanover; married Lorinda MARCY; lived and died on the River Road near the old homestead.  They had:
