Felix HOOVER,1 probably of Dutch descent, came to Hanover from New Jersey about 1790; owned a place on the Middle Road at Hoover Hill; lived between the Middle and Back Roads.  His children were:

Henry HOOVER 2 (Felix 1) was born in New Jersey; lived in Hanover on the Middle Road at Hoover Hill; married Hannah BURGESS; died in 1848.  They had:

Michael HOOVER 2 (Felix 1) was born in New Jersey; lived in Hanover on the Middle Road at Hoover Hill; married Asenath BURGESS; the family sold out and all went West in 1838.  They had:

John HOOVER 2 (Felix 1) was born in New Jersey in 1782 and came to Hanover with his family about 1790; lived in Hanover on the Middle Road at Hoover Hill; married Sarah SIMS; died in Hanover in 1866.  They had:

Henry HOOVER 3 (John,2 Felix 1) was born in Hanover; lives [c. 1885] in Wisconsin (since 1840); married Elizabeth SIDMORE.  They have a large family, names unknown.

Michael HOOVER 3 (John,2 Felix 1) was born in Hanover; lives [c. 1885] in Wisconsin (since 1860); married Betsey Ann CUSTERD.  They have many children, names unknown.

Jacob HOOVER 3 (John,2 Felix 1) was born in Hanover in 1828; married Susan SORBER.  Has now (1884) gone to Wisconsin.  They had:

John HOOVER 3 (Henry,2 Felix 1) was born in Hanover; married Mrs. HIGGS; lived and died in Hanover.  They had:
