Silas WIGGINS 1 came to Hanover previous to 1790; it is not known where he came from; lived on the six-rod road below Hoover Hill on the Middle Road; married Hannah HOOVER; was an iron maker at the forge in Nanticoke; went up the river to New York about 1833 or 1834.  They had:
