The History Of The Nelson Family
I have very little information on the Nelson Family
starting with Isabella Nelson to the present day(2019).
this family ties in with the Cummings family through the marriage
of Mary Brown Pope, to Carl E Cummings,Jr.

Isabella married David Wesley Ruff [154] [MRIN: 61], son of Silas Ruff [157] 1 and Judith Weston Elkins [156],1 on 29 Sep 1858. David was born on 22 Dec 1827 in Jenkinsville, Fairfield, SC, USA and died on 24 May 1862 in Ashland Hospital, Va., USA at age 34.
The child from this marriage was:
+ 2 F i. Margaret Wesley Ruff [66] [66] was born on 16 Apr 1862 in Fairfield, SC, USA, died on 25 Feb 1902 in Fairfield, SC, USA at age 39, and was buried in Greenbrier Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenbrier, SC.
