he preached, whether in his own society or when
occupying the pulpit of some neighboring denomination,
which was very frequently the case. His fine
personal appearance and great fluency of specch always
commanded the attention of his andience, accompanied
as it was with the most fervent and impressive
piety.
The social qualities of his well-stored mind were of the
highest order, tempered as it was by a true Christian
spirit; he always commanded the respect of those he
came in contact with.
Rev. C. S. died March 22, 1843, aged 65 years, and
5 months.
His wife died April 3, 1861, aged 78 years.

Isaac Schultz, son of Abraham Schultz (page 52), married
Susanna, daughter of David Schultz (page 64),
May 31, 1804. Children:
Amos, born May 11, 1809.
Isaac, born June 8, 1811. Died January 2, 1874.
Abraham, born September 16, 1813.
Daniel S., born April 10, 1816.
Christina, born February 15, 1818.
Joel, born April 2, 1820.
Philip, born March 11, 1822. Died October 21,
1864.
Joseph, born March 30, 1824. Died September 1,
1827.
Susanna, wife of I. S., died September 18, 1834.
I. S. died October 15, 1867. He lived upon the property
now in possession of Abraham, his son, in Upper
Hanover Township, and was a farmer by occupation.
