C. S. died May 8, 1748.
The widow afterwards married Christopher Yeakel.

Christopher Yeakle, son of Regina and Christopher

(page 14), August 9, 1743.
Their children were:
Susanna, born October 8, 1744.
Maria, born September 21, 1747.
Regina, born October 1, 1749.
Abraham, born March 14, 1752.
Anna, born July 16, 1755.
Christopher, born October 7, 1757.
Maria, wife of C. Y., died March 4, 1807, aged 89
years.
C. Y. died January 3, 1810, aged 91 years and 9
months.
Christopher Yeakle was about 18 years of age when
he came to Pennsylvania with his mother in 1734; his
father died in Germany. He apprenticed himself to
a cooper, and continued during life to follow his trade.
He built the log-house in 1743 (yet standing, 1879) at
Cresheim, Germantown Township, Philadelphia, which
was his dwelling until nearly the Revolution, when
he purchased the property on the summit of Chestnut
Hill, now owned by his granddaughter, and died there
at a very advanced age. By his industrious and frugal
habits he died possessed of considerable property. His
descendants are quite numerous in Philadelphia and
in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
