150th Pennsylvania Volunteers (Bucktails), in 1862,
and served during the years 1863, 1864, and 1865,
until peace was declared. After returning home he
worked at the printing business, which he had learned
with Major Freas, of Germantown, and in 1867 com-
menced publishing the "Manayunk Sentinel." He
represented the Twenty-first and Twenty-eighth wards
in the Legislature of Pennsylvania during 1875, 1876,
1877, and 1878, and on January 1, 1879 was ap-
pointed an assessor of real estate and personal prop-
erty in Philadelphia, for a term of five years.

ried Christina, daughter of Charles Schultz (page 181),
October 17, 1860. Children:

Anthony K. Heebner, son of Anthony S. Heebner (page      An error
135), married Catharine S., daughter of John Anders

Matthias Lukens married Rebecca Ann, daughter of
Joseph Wiegner (page 167), November 15, 1860.
