while he was absent from home, on the night of the
13th of June, 1750, by a German servant in his employ,
whom he had shortly before procured from shipboard.
The murderer was apprehended and taken
before court, tried, and convicted October 22, 1750, in
Philadelphia, and was hung on the 14th of November
following.

Hans Christopher Heebner, son of Christopher Heebner
(page 18), married Barbara, daughter of Susanna and
Balthasar Schultz
(page 14), October 21, 1746. Their
children were:
Rosanna, born December 9, 1747.
Susanna, born April 12, 1750.
Elizabeth, born June 24, 1752. Died October 7,
1796.
Isaac, born August 1, 1754. Died June 19, 1776.
Job, born September 4, 1757. Died July 24, 1781.
Abraham, born February 29, 1760.
Barbara, wife of H. C. H., died January 26, 1786, aged
65 1/2 years.
H. C. H., died January 30, 1804, aged 82 years. He resided
in Worcester Township, where Henry H. Heebner
now lives.

Abraham Hartranft, son of Tobias Hartranft (page 5),       Appendix
married Susanna, daughter of Christopher Schubert
(page 14), November 3, 1747. Their children were.
Christopher, born October 5, 1748.
Abraham, born April 2, 1750.
Barbara, born December 20, 1751.
John, born April 21, 1753.
William, born November 23, 1754.
1 Leonard, born April 17, 1757. Died August 25,
1758.
