He became also the owner of a large number of mills,
three of which were erected under his own supervision,
one as early as 1792. He was a man of sound judgment
and great decision of character, and amassed
a large estate. He was an Associate Judge of Northampton
County for about forty-two years, and it is
said that in that time no bond was ever taken in court
the sureties to which proved insufficient to pay it.

Christopher Neuman, son of David Neuman (page 39),
married Rosina, daughter of George Wiegner (page
33), May 11, 1786. They had issue:
Samuel, born June 23, 1790.
George, born October 2, 1794. Died April 24, 1815.
Rosina, wife of C. N., died December 18, 1819, aged
60 years, 11 months, 16 days.
C. N. died April 18, 1833, aged 75 years.

Andrew Anders, son of George Anders (page 38), married
Sarah, daughter of Balthasar Reinewald (page
46), September 6, 1787. They had issue:
Anna, born August 15, 1789. Died March 3, 1802.
Joseph, born January 22, 1793.
Elizabeth, born November 5, 1795.
A. A. died August 10, 1832, aged 69 years, 24 days.
Sarah, his widow, died August 20, 1841, aged 73 years,
23 days.

David Yeakel, son of Abraham Yeakel (page 32), married
Anna, daughter of Rev. George Kriebel (page
41), November 29, 1787. They had issue:
Salome, born August 22, 1788.
Abraham, born December 10, 1789. Died November
5, 1793.
Maria, born December 4, 1791, married Hains.
