Did you notice that Jesse's birthdate is given as December 24, 1874 while his sister Sophia's date of birth was given as February 12, 1875? The dates are only seven weeks apart, and it is unusual for twins to be born that far apart in time. It is not unheard of, but it is rare.

On page 669 of the 1923 Genealogical Register we find this family with the note that the letters that were sent to the family for updated information were left unanswered. They were unable to complete the family for the Register. They have the same dates, for all the events in the family, in the 1923 book as they do in the 1879 book. Jacob and Susanna's death dates are not recorded (conceivably they could still have been alive in 1923). It does say that Sophia married a John Rosenberger and they lived in Norristown, while Jesse was married and living in Ambler, Pennsylvania.

The eldest son Henry (on page 294), who was born on November 1, 1870, is, in the 1923 book, given a date of death of April 1, 1871.
