     There is a story that he possesed a fine coat that he prized highly. There was an encampment of Revolutionary soldiers in Towemencin, and for fear of the coat being stolen he hid it under the brushes of the Towemencin Creek. He recovered the coat after the encampment left.2 He was a farmer.2 He lived near Kulpsville in Towemencin Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.2 He died on 13 December 1814 at age 77 years, 9 months and 7 days.1
