Changing a lightbulb

The main reason this page is here is because I uploaded a Links page into the Religions directory which has a good number of religion links on it. I don't at present have anything to say concerning my faith. However the directory of my webpages becomes available to anybody who wishes to see it if there is no index page in a directory (a.k.a. folder) that has webpages in it. I don't think what is contained in the directory is anybody's buisness except mine and Rootsweb's. I don't want to make it easy for anybody else to see it.

However I do have definite opinions on religion, and I know what I believe. This page is only temporary. Expect to see a thesis on my religious beliefs. In the meantime the Home link on this page will take you to the overall home page of my web-site and the links page is the one I mentioned. There are other links pages involved. The Schwenkfelder page concerns the descendants, of which I am one, of the immigrants, in the 1730s, to Pennsylvania of the Schwenkfelder faith. They came for religious liberty and they believed in tolerance; it is and was a small denomination believing in Believer's Baptism.

There is also a link to the text of the Dordrecht Confession, a Mennonite/Anabaptist statement of faith, which was signed on April 21, 1632 by, among others, my ancestor Herman Op den Graeff.

I've included a link to the church I belong to. An excellent assembly of people.

And finally, how many Methodists does it take to change a lightbulb?...

Finally, please sign the Guestbook. And please let me know if you find any bad links.
