"SARAH WEBB, b. 2d April, 1741; m. (firstly) 7th May, 1759, Joshua CONVERSE, d. 10th December, 1760; m. (secondly) 23d June, 1762, at Windsor, Connecticut, Elihu JOHNSON. They lived at Tolland, Connecticut; he served as a volunteer for the relief of Fort William Henry in the French and Indian War in August, 1757, in Captain STOUGHTON's Regiment; he served three years, during the Revolutionary War, in the 2b Connecticut Regiment, Captain HINCKLY'S Company, as a private and gave other military service.
