"Nathaniel Lincoln Jr., born in Taunton in 1725. He married, Oct. 11, 1743, Elizabeth Robinson, daughter of Increase, Jr., and Mehitabel (Williams) Robinson. His first two children were probably born in Taunton. . . .
CHILDREN.
1. NATHANIEL, b. probably in Taunton. He removed with his father to New Braintree, where he followed the trade of a tanner. He purchased of his father in 1774 a farm in New Braintree, on the north side of the road leading to the meeting-house. He m. in Oakham (published), June 7, 1791, widow Ruth Delanoe. (Probably a second marriage, though we have no record of a former one.) He removed to Sag Harbor, L. I.; then resided temporarily in Hartford, Conn.; but returned to Sag Harbor, where he was living in1809. He had two sons and one daughter. One son, Lemuel Lincoln, d. in Hartford, Aug. 23, 1809. . . .
Lemuel Lincoln left two sons, George and Lemuel, the latter eight months old. It is said they went to St. Louis.
II. SOPHIA, b. -----, probably in Taunton. . . .
III. Rachel, b. June 15, 1749, in Rehoboth. She m. in New Braintree, July 11, 1771, Henry Chase, Jr., son of Henry and Abigail (Stratton) Chase of Petersham. He was born in Petersham, Nov. 4, 1748. We know of no children of this marriage. He married again, Sept. 12, 1782, Susanna Shattuck of Petersham.

"(II) Deacon John, fourth child and youngest son of William and Annis Chandler, was born in 1610, and removed from Old Roxbury to New Roxbury (Woodstock,Connecticut), in 1686; was selectman in 1693 and afterward; deacon of the church; one of six men who bought the Mashamoquet purchase of fifteen hundred acres, and was one of the prominent men of the town until his death, April 15, 1703. He married Elizabeth, daughter of William Douglass and his wife Anna Mattle, daughter of Thomas Mattle, of Ringstead, in Northamptonshire,England. William Douglass was of Ipswich, Massachusetts, in 1641; in Boston, 1645; was made freeman, 1646; moved to New London, Connecticut, 1659; and was one of the grantees of that place, in 1663, from Charles II. The children of Deacon John and Elizabeth (Douglass) Chandler were: John, Elizabeth, John, Joseph, Hannah, Mehitabel, Sarah and Joseph.".

" JOHN2 PERRIN (John1), probably born at Braintree, Mass., died at Roxbury, Mass., in 1692. He married, about 1667, MARY POLLEY, baptized at Roxbury 2 June 1650, daughter of John and Hannah (3rd wife) Polley. She and her sister Sarah (who, about 1668, married Benjamin2 Saben of Rehoboth) were baptized the same day.
John Polley of Roxbury, proprietor, died 2 Apr. 1689, age 71 years. In his will, made 17 Dec. 1688 and entered for probate in March 1690/1, he bequeaths to his son-in-law John Peren and Mary his wife of Rehoboth; to "the four motherless children of his daughter Sabin [Benjamin] to have their mother's [Sarah] part"; his "wife Jane to have according to contract". He also mentions his other children.".
