"3. ANDREW2 FORD (Andrew1), born in Weymouth say anout 1650/51, died in Abington 24 Aug. 1725. There is no record of Andrew's birth or of his age at death; it is certain, however, that Andrew1 had at least two sons by 3 April 1651, the date of Robert Lovell's will, in which Robert mentioned his son-in-law's "eldest son" and "youngest son."
He married about 1679/80 ABIAH [? PIERCE], born about 1654, died between 22 March 1721, the date of Andrew's letter quoted below, and 8 April 1725, the date of his will which does not mention her. Abiah's identity has long puzzled researchers.

Page 174. John2 Bicknell, only child of Zechary,--had a first wife Mary, who died 25th 10mo 1657-8. He m. second Mary,2 daughter of Richard Porter 2--10mo 1658-9. He had by first wife, John, Jr., 1754, mary and Naomi; by second wife, Ruth, Joanna, Experience, Zechary, Elisabeth, Mary, Thomas and Hannah, 1675. He was representative, &c., and died between Nov. 6, 1678 and Jan. 20, 1679. In his will he gave all his estate to his widow Mary, "as long as she should remain a widow.".".

"(II) Thomas Reed, second son of William and Avis (Deacon) Reade, was born in 1645, and lived in Weymouth, where he died November 14, 1719. He served as a fence viewer, constable, hay arden, selectman, 1691 and 1693, tithing-man, 1695, and on a committee to repair the meeting house in 1682. In 1693 he was on another committee to lay out the way across the great plain. He was a private under Lieutenant Gillam and Major Savage, from February to May, 1676, in King Phillip's war. He married in 1670, Sarah Bicknell,born about 1651, died at Weymouth, August 21, 1719, daughter of John and Mary (Shaw) Bicknell, of that town. Children: Thomas, mentioned below; Mary, born 1672; Sarah, married Thomas Stockbridge; John born December 30, 1679; Samuel, April 12, 1681; Ruth, February 20, 1685; William, February 4, 1688; Hannah, September 25, 1689; Elizabeth, November 9, 1694.
