"7. ISAAC OWEN (John1), of Windsor and Simsbury, born at Windsor 27 may 1670, died at Simsbury 13 June 1736. He married, 20 Dec. 1694, SARAH HOLCOMB, born 1 Feb. 1673, died 22 Jan. 1763, aged 90 (East Granby Cemetery inscriptions), daughter of Benajah Holcomb.
In 1695 his father gave him a parcel of land in Windsor, called Poquonock; and in 1697 the father made over to his sons Isaac and Obadiah other lands. The baptisms of his children, Sarah and Rebecca in 1698, Ann in 1700, and Elijah in 1707, are entered in the Simsbury church records by Rev. D. Woodbridge. In 1708 Isaac Owen of Windsor bought Lot No. 18 in Simsbury from his brother Joseph. In his will he names his wife Sarah, his sons Isaac and Elijah, and his daughters Rebecca, Ann, Sarah Phelps, and Deborah Eno.
