"(IV) Zebulon Bradley, eldest child of Samuel and Sarah (Robinson) Bradley, was born October 6, 1715, in East Haven, and died prior to the year 1803. He married, July 10, 1740, Elizabeth Hemingway, born October 3, 1716, daughter of Abraham and Sarah (Tamadge) Hemingway, who was described as the widow of Zebulon at her death, March 9, 1803, in her eighty-seventh year. Children: Abraham, born June 13, 1741; Josiah, mentioned below; Asa and Jared, May 9, 1746, (twins, the latter died July 1, same year); Jared, May 30, 1749; Abijah, October 31, 1751; Zebulon, October 12, 1753. "killed in battle at sea;" Elizabeth, December 15, 1756, married, in 1774, Andrew Davidson; Elijah, October 10, 1759."
