They had four children, of whom two and probably all four were born in or near Reading,e

(2) Matthew, b. abt. 1684 or 1685; d. East Haddam, Dec. 6, 1751, aged 67f
(3) Thomas, b. Reading, Feb. 19, 1686. Unmarried., Died on an expedition against the French, 1708-9,g
(4) Mary. Unmarried, Nov. 25, 1709, when she signed an agreement concerning the estate of her late brother, Thomas.h

Woburn, Jan. 26, 1661k He had m. 1st, Reading, Aug. 19, 1685, Mrs. Rebecca (Merriam) Fitch, widow of Samuel Fitch of reading, by whom he had two children.
