Jonathan Jackson, A.B. (Harvard, 1761), A.M. (ib., 1764), treasurer of Harvard College, delegate to the Continental Congress, and Hannah (Tracy). He m. (2) 31 dec. 1809 Frances Cabot, a cousin of his first wife, b. 9 Jan. 1780, d. 15 Feb. 1868, dau. of John and Hannah (Dodge), by whom he had five children, one of whom, Amelia Lee, m. 15 June 1840 Oliver Wendell Holmes, M.D., LL.D., Litt.D., D.C.L., the poet and novelist, and had Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., LL.D. D.C.L., justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. Child: 1. Elizabeth Lee, d. 26 July 1807.".
