Prevented by his father's death from attending college,

He held a number of political posts,
including two non-consecutive terms as President of the United States,
becoming the only American chief executive to do so.
He was the first Democratic president elected after the Civil War.
A batchelor when elected, he married during his term,
becoming the only president married in the White House.
He was the first president to be photographed by a motion picture camera.
Cleveland holds the unique distinction of being the only US president
to have personally executed a death sentence.
As sheriff of Erie County, NY, it was his duty to carry out
