3. Michael Sheely signed a will on 5 Oct 1784 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. (4) Will of Michael Sheely Dated 5 Oct 1784, Proved 8 Mar 1785: In the name of God Amen. I, Michael Sheely, being weak in body but in perfect and sound memory but having to mind that it is appointed once for all men to die and for the better regulation of my worldly affairs that it has been pleased God to indow me with; First and foremost I commend my soul to God that gave it and my body to the ground to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executors.. First and I will and bequest to my Brother John Sheely or his heirs the sum of five Shillings Pennsylvania currency. Secondly I will and bequest to my beloved wife Sarah my negro woman Filles, all my bedding, all my household furnishings my horses cows farming utenseals of all sorts and every other ailsels(?) great and small that I am posessed with to be wholey for her use and behoof and to be at her disposal as she may think most proper, my lawful debts having first paid. Furthermore I will that if my wife Sarah die in this present disorder she now lies in at this time, I will that my negro woman Filles shall be let free and no longer be a bound slave, and furthermore the remainder part of my property is holey and soley on the five Shillings before willed to my Brother John Sheely or his heirs to be equally divided between Joseph Hill Junior and Stephen Hill, Mary Geyer and Joseph Beckett each of them to have a equal part, my lawful debts as aforesaid first paid. Furthermore I do constitute and appoint my wife Sarah, Gasper Geyer, and Joseph Becket to be my executors, to have all my affairs settled according to my will and desire. And in witness that this is my last will and testament I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this 2nd day of October one thousand seven hundred and eighty four.
