He purchased 122 acres in section 18 (NW?1/4) from Jesse B. Stephen on 6 Apr 1840 in Root Township, Adams County, Indiana.⁽⁶²⁰⁾ He purchased part of section 17 (NW1/4 NE1/4) from John Burwell on 10 Jun 1844 in Root Township, Adams County, Indiana.⁽⁶²¹⁾ He sold 122 acres in section 18 (NW?1/4) to Anton Hockemeyer on 24 Sep 1845 in Root Township, Adams County, Indiana.⁽⁶²²⁾ He sold part of section 17 (NW1/4 NE1/4) to Oliver L. Hart on 4 Oct 1845 in Root Township, Adams County, Indiana.⁽⁶²³⁾ He purchased 80 acres in section 11 (W1/2 NW1/4) from Nicholas Fetick on 15 Oct 1845 in Washington Township, Adams County, Indiana. ⁽⁶²⁴⁾ He sold 80 acres in section 11 (W1/2 SW1/4) to Rudolph Huffen on 30 Oct 1848 in Washington Township, Adams County, Indiana. ⁽⁶²⁵⁾ Ursula also signed the deed. He died between 8 Dec 1849 and 20 Jan 1850 in Wayne Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana.

He was married to Caroline Matilda Millington on 22 Mar 1813 in Washington Township, Franklin County, Ohio.⁽⁶²⁶⁾ Caroline Matilda Millington was born between 1790 and 1800 in Pennsylvania. She died in 1842 in Ohio. George Hill and Caroline Matilda Millington had the following children:

She appeared on the census in 1850 in Jackson Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana. She was living with James S. Hover, born Ohio, age 35 and William Hover, born Pennsylvania, age 38. I suspect that James and William are her brothers.
