583. Purd B. Wright ⁽¹⁵³⁸⁾ was born on 4 Sep 1860 in Missouri.⁽¹⁵³⁹⁾ He appeared on the census in 1880 in home of parent. He died on 28 Apr 1947 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.⁽¹⁵⁴⁰⁾ in 1868 He Moved with His Parents to Cameron, Missouri. In 1871 the Wright family lived in Kearney, Missouri. (Clell Miller, a member of the Jesse James gang, taught Purd B. Wright to run. Purd Was the fastest 100 yard dash man). In 1873-4 he learned the printers trade and went to school at Pleasant Ridge college in Platte County, Missouri from 1884 to 1910. He resided in St. Joseph, Missouri. From 1 Jun 1911 to 1936, he was Kansas City Public Librarian. Much of this information comes from a newspaper article found in the reference library at Kansas City.

He was married to Luzerma "Lullu" Martha Floyd (daughter of John Floyd and --- ---) in 1884. ⁽¹⁵⁴¹⁾ Luzerma "Lullu" Martha Floyd ⁽¹⁵⁴²⁾ died on 16 Sep 1927. ⁽¹⁵⁴³⁾ She was born in Macon County, Missouri. ⁽¹⁵⁴⁴⁾ She was a resident of Soiux City, Iowa, at the time of her marriage to Purd Wright. Purd B. Wright and Luzerma "Lullu" Martha Floyd had the following children:
