Carlyle is not named in this source, which reads "... a son", but I believe this to be he. The date is given as "12th Inst.", Eptek Exhibition Centre.
- [S38] Assumptions by author, This person could not possibly have been born in 1878 and died in 1740 (per PEIHF Master Name Index). His wife was stated, in the same source to have been born in 1891 and died in 1960, and his son's dates are 1933-1941 . Therefore, I have concluded that his year of death is more likely to have been 1940.
- [S480] Prince Edward Island Heritage Foundation, Master Name Index, Reel No. 58, referencing Lot 4, Cemetery 5, Stone 31. In this record, the year of death is given as 1740 which is impossible. I believe it should be 1940, Eptek Exhibition Centre.
