12. William² Beazley (James¹) birth date unknown.⁽¹²⁴⁾ He died in 1798 or 1799.

William married Mary in Orange Co., Virginia. Some have asserted that this William Beazley married Betsy Powell in Orange County, Virginia. This would seem to be incorrect. We know that the William Beazley who died in Orange County, Virginia left a minor, Catherine, who became the ward of Henry Hammer. We find in Rockingham County a 1799 marriage between Mary Beesley, widow of William, and Henry Hammer. Although there is no record of marriage between William and Mary, the inference is that William was married to Mary and not to Betsy.

William's will was probated January 28, 1799 in Orange Co., Virginia.⁽¹²⁵⁾ Upon William's death, his estate was administered by Robert Branham February 22, 1802 in Orange Co., Virginia.⁽¹²⁶⁾

William Beazley and Mary had the following child:

65 i. Catherine³ Beazley. She was listed as Henry Hammer's ward September 23, 1799.⁽¹²⁷⁾
