C. G. Brannum’s Services Planned

Illness Fatal to Resident of Owens Cross Roads, Route 1

 

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock for Clarence G. BRANNUM, 22, who died yesterday afternoon at his home, Owens Cross Roads, Route 1, after a long illness.

 

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie BRANNUM; four sisters, Mrs. Lizzie SMITH and Mrs. Helen WOODS of Anniston; Mrs. Evelyn CARGILE, Huntsville; Mrs. Marie BARLEW, Warrior; grandmother, Mrs. Della BRANNUM.

 

Services will be held at the Gallilee Baptist Church at Bugg’s Chapel, with the Rev. Roy STONE and the Rev. Henry BRANNUM officiating.  Interment will be in Moon Cemetery, Butler Brothers funeral home in charge.

 

Pallbearers will be W. E. SELF, Fred HILL, George CRAFT, Herman MAPLES, Alvie SMITH, H. B. WOODS, Robert HILL, Roy BRANNUM.
