Mrs. Jennie Moon Taken By Death

 

Services for Mrs. Jennie Elizabeth MOON, 56, who died at her home at Owens Cross Roads Saturday night, were conducted this afternoon at 3 o’clock at Buggs Chapel by the Revs. Roy STONE and Henry BRANNUM.  Burial was in Moon Cemetery, with Laughlin-Service directing.

 

Mrs. Moon, who was the widow of J. P. MOON, had been ill about a week.

 

Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Annie L. TAYLOR, Owens Cross Roads; one son, W. H. MOON, Birmingham; one sister, Mrs. W. J. REED, Huntsville; two grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. There are also several nieces and nephews.

 

Active pallbearers at the funeral were W. J. REED, Wilson WHITE, G. E. EVANS, J. B. TABOR, Allen MAPLES and George CRAFT.
