Kicked In Stomach By Another, John Hindman Dies

Kicked in the stomach during a scuffle at a ball game last Thursday afternoon, John Richard HINDMAN, eight-year-old pupil of Vann School, died at his home near Owens Cross Roads yesterday.

Internal injuries, caused by the blow in his stomach, resulted in his death.

He was kicked, by 14-year-old Sammy ADAMS, also a pupil of the school.  The two were in a ball game on the school grounds.  No charges had been placed against the Adams youth today, but it was understood that the parents of the dead boy, Mr. and Mrs. John E.
