Mrs. Brockway’s Rites Set Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Lou BROCKWAY, 78, Route 1, Owens Cross Roads, will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church with the Rev. M. G. WILSON, the Rev. Vernon RIDGES and the Rev. Jack CAIN officiating.
Burial will be in the Moon Cemetery. Mrs. Brockway died Friday afternoon at her residence.
Survivors are the widower, Frank BROCKWAY; three daughter, Mrs. R. Y. STONE, Mrs. Elbert VANN, Huntsville, and Mrs. Wilson SELF, Gadsden; three sons, Herbert CRAFT, Brownsboro, Lonnie CRAFT and Gardner CRAFT; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Acting pallbearers will be Elmer COBB, Roy COBB, Jimmy VANN, James COBB, Clayburn WALLS and Jesse CASTLE.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson MANN, Dr. J. L. CARPENTER, Fred CRAIG, J. R. SPIVEY, Robert BAKER and E. C. MAPLES.
Butler Brothers Funeral Home will direct the funeral arrangements.
